Yerevan Haybusak University was founded in 1991 by academician Levon Harutyunyan. Initially, it started with three faculties but now there are multiple faculties offering courses at undergraduate, post-graduate level and doctorate level. It is the biggest non-state educational institution which provides study programs in higher and vocational professional education. The University is located in the capital city of Yerevan.
The college got state accreditation in 2001. The university is popular not only in Armenia but also in many international countries because of its relation with cultural-educational organizations. The classes are conducted in three languages- Russian, Armenian, and English. There are around 70,000 students who have been part of this prestigious university. It has been ranked 20th out of 50 colleges in Armenia.
The MBBS college was opened at Yerevan Haybusak University with the foundation of this University and faculty of medicine is one of the flagship courses.
